Today’s publishing software offer many opportunities for automation. Crius Group is proficient in writing extensive Word macro's, InDesign scripts and Framescripts. We improve publishing workflows by developing and implementing applications, tools and scripts to enhance manual typesetting. In a more advanced shape we use our knowledge to create completely automated XML publishing engines using different technologies like XSLT, XSL-FO and software like Adobe FrameMaker or Xyvision XPP.

PubliFlow is an online, easy-to-use workflow solution for publishing books. PubliFlow converts uploaded Word files to print-ready PDF’s. Corrections are possible through an online WYSIWYG editor. Furthermore CORE allows you to manage your publishing process from start to end.

Adobe eLearning suite
The Adobe eLearning suite consists of a number of tools used for creating and generation eLearning content and applications. We use these tools like Adobe Captivate, Acrobat, Presenter, Soundbooth and Flash technology to create interactive and inspiring media including sound, video, animation and quizzes.

For many books, ePub as a digital format is too limited. For instance if the layout is important and especially if you have added value to enrich your publication with like extra images, video, audio, links...
Often one immediatley thinks of custom-built applications but they are usually in a whole different price range and device or platform dependant.
Adobe aknowledges the need to fill in this gap and developed the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. This suite, consisting of an InDesign plug-inand a set of online services, offers the capability of creating enhanced, rich and interactive publications.
This publications are .folio files and they are, not unlike PDF, platformon independant. They can be read on different platforms with the Adobe Content Viewer (available for free in the AppStore). This viewer can even be customised to a publisher or a specific series of publications.
The most widely known example of the use of this technology is Wired Magazine.
ePub creation
Publishing houses today can not escape digital publishing. For textbooks ePub is currently the most common and accessible format.
