eBook conversion
As publishers look to new forms of distributing their content eBook and eReaders are reaching adulthood and getting widely accepted. Creating eBook versions of new books is fairly easy, our web2print solution for books, CORE, even generates eBooks for free.
But what with all the books that have been printed in the past? What with all that legacy content laying on the shelves?
Crius Group offers a solution. We convert to different eBook formats (ePub, MobiPocket) from PDF or from typesetting files. We preserve images and include a table of contents, index (both with clickable hyperlinks) and metadata.
XML Enrichment
Do you struggle to make your XML as rich and valuable as it could be? Does your DTD or Schema provide elements and attributes that hardly ever get used because no one takes the trouble to implement them? Does your automatic conversion or transformation leave some gaps that need to be filled?
These are well known and recurring issues.
It's only fair you don't expect your authors to use every XML feature in your applications, they write content. Automated conversion also has its limits. The human reader of text for interpretation can not be replaced with a machine.
